Privacy policy

Dibs is run by PT Dibs Dengan Hati, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali. We are responsible for the personal data you give us. This policy follows Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27 of 2022).

What we collect

What you give us: your name, email address and WhatsApp number when you subscribe or buy a voucher.
What happens when you buy: the drop, the voucher code, the date and the amount paid. Card and payment details are handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
What your device sends: basic data such as your browser type, the pages you visit and which link brought you here. See "Analytics" below.

Why we use it

To send your voucher and booking details, and to contact you about your purchase.
To send our newsletter and drop alerts, only if you agreed to receive them.
To give the venue what it needs to honour your voucher: your name and voucher code.
To keep records the law asks us to keep, such as tax and payment records.
To understand how people use our website, so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

The venue for the drop you bought (name and voucher code only).
Service providers that help us run Dibs, such as our payment provider and our email and WhatsApp tools. They may only use your data to provide that service to us.
Authorities, if the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe. Purchase records: as long as Indonesian tax and accounting law requires. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. You can withdraw your consent to our newsletter or WhatsApp messages at any time, using the unsubscribe link or by replying STOP. Write to hello@wearedibs.com and we'll reply as soon as we can, within the time the law requires.

Analytics

We count visits and pages to see what's working. We only use cookies for that after you say yes on our cookie notice. You can change your choice any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.

Necessary (always on): your browser remembers your cookie choice and whether you closed our pop-up. These stay on your device and are not shared.

Statistics (only if you agree): Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, tells us which pages people visit, roughly where they come from and how they found us. Google sets cookies named _ga and _ga_*, kept for up to 2 years. We see the numbers together, not who you are, and we never sell them.

Marketing: not in use yet. If we add the Meta Pixel later, it will be a separate choice, off until you turn it on, and this page will say so.

Keeping it safe

We use reasonable measures to protect your data. If a data breach affects you, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

Age

Dibs is for people aged 18 and over.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If the change is important, we'll tell you by email.
