Terms of use

Dibs is run by PT Dibs Dengan Hati, Ubud, Gianyar, Bali. These terms cover the purchase and use of vouchers bought through Dibs. Buying a voucher means you accept them.
What Dibs is
Dibs sells vouchers for places in Bali worth your time (restaurants, bars, stays, wellness and events) on behalf of those venues. We handle the listing and take the payment. The venue provides the meal, stay or experience itself, in its own name and at its own cost.
Your agreement for the meal or stay is therefore with the venue. Our agreement with you covers the sale of the voucher.
Releases
- Dibs are released on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 20:20 (WITA), in fixed quantities.
- List members may be able to buy before the public release.
- Each release has a fixed number of vouchers. When they're gone, they're gone.
- We may change the schedule and will announce it first.
Buying
- Prices are shown in Indonesian Rupiah and include tax and service unless the release says otherwise.
- Payment is taken at purchase by card, Apple Pay, QRIS or bank transfer.
- Your voucher is sent by email as soon as payment clears, and stays available at the link in that email.
- You can buy up to 3 vouchers per drop.
- You must be 18 or over to buy.
Using your voucher
- Vouchers are valid for 6 months from purchase. Event vouchers are valid on the event date only.
- The full value must be used in a single visit. Unused value is not refunded and cannot be carried over.
- Vouchers can be used together at one table, at the same place, on the same visit. They can't be combined with the venue's other promotions.
- If your bill exceeds the voucher value, you pay the difference to the venue directly.
- The release page states exactly what the voucher covers. The voucher price already includes tax and service. Anything not listed, such as extra drinks or dishes, is paid to the venue at its normal price, plus its usual tax and service.
- Bookings are made directly with the venue; the release page explains how. Book early; we can't guarantee any particular date.
- Any days, times or closed dates shown on the release page apply.
- If you can't make your booking, cancel with the venue at least 24 hours before. If you cancel later or don't turn up, the voucher counts as used and can't be refunded.
- Each voucher is redeemed once. Once the QR code is scanned, it is used.
Refunds
- Vouchers are non-refundable once purchased, except as set out below.
- If the venue cannot honour your voucher within its validity period, contact us and we will arrange a refund or an extension.
- If a release is cancelled before redemption, you receive a full refund to your original payment method.
- Event tickets are not refunded if you change your mind. If an event is cancelled, you get a full refund. If it is rescheduled, you can keep your ticket for the new date or ask for a refund.
- Refunds are processed within 14 working days, to the payment method used.
- Duplicate or failed payments are refunded in full as soon as we identify them.
If something goes wrong
Tell the venue first: most things are settled on the spot. If they aren't, write to hello@wearedibs.com and we'll take it up with the venue on your behalf.
Complaints about the quality of food, service or accommodation are matters for the venue, which is responsible for what it provides.
Misuse
- Vouchers are for personal use and may not be resold.
- Vouchers carry the buyer's name and may be checked against it.
- Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- Copied, altered or already-redeemed vouchers will not be accepted.
- The written and photographic content on this site belongs to Dibs and may not be reproduced without permission.
Your details
We collect your name, email and phone number to send you your voucher and to tell you when releases go live. We do not sell your details.
Joining our list is optional. WhatsApp messages are sent only if you opt in, and stop when you reply STOP. You can unsubscribe from email using the link at the bottom of any message. See our Privacy policy.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your purchase is the one published when you bought.
Law
These terms are governed by Indonesian law, and any dispute will be heard by the Indonesian courts.
